Default rough idle

okay this might already be somewhere but i didnt find it lol

anytime my air is on and my car is sitting it will occasionally vibrate my car like crazy and than stop and go back to smooth. if im driving around and stop at a light it will do it too. think its spark plugs and junk or possibly something fan/air related...lol its hard to explain since it does it randomly. someone said something about a fan being tilted or something......i have no knowledge of these things lol

It's probably related to the on/off cycling of the compressor. The compressor come on if you have the air-conditioning on and it also comes on if you have the control set for defrost/clearing of the windshield. The compressor puts a big strain on the engine and will cause overheating if the fan isn't working properly.

Make sure the A/C or defrost isn't on and see if the rough idle goes away.

Yeah if I turn off the air or the fan it will stop rough idling. On straight defrost it doesn't do it so much, its not as shakey. So maybe more air conditioner related. Something wrong with compressor maybe....I sure hope not, I just bought this car. It kinda seems more fan related to. Would that be a radiator fan or another fan? Lol

Radiator fan. They go bad (burnt bushes) quite often.
