Default Timing Belt Replacement - What Next?

I have 102,000 on my 2002 Cruiser Limited & ready to replace timing belt & water pump. What other kinds of issues might I encounter with this kind of mileage on my vehicle. It has been good so far.

Chrysler upgraded the timing belt tensioner in 2004. You might also want toget the new one with the belt change. While your in there. The serpentine and alternator belt is a good time to change.

Welcome. I try also to the timing belt replacement. By the way, I ask - I do not want to assume a new topic specifically. Does the belt replacement is difficult, if not cause problems. Maybe you have a description of the exchange?

Hey, I think I understand that.

If you go into the Tech & Performance section of the forum, look for the thread entitled: HOW TO. When you open that, there's about 2 dozen threads on how to do many things on the PT. There's about 3 or 4 of those threads that talk about the timing belt change. Have you worked on cars where you come from? The timing belt change is a long, complicated and sometimes frustrating job and even the best sometimes have problems. Good luck.
