Default Noisy front end.

My 04 GT sounds like I am running Jeep Wrangler tires on the front. No change in turns. Noise at wheel speed. Auto trans. No clicks, clanks on any other expensive noises. Bearings or transaxle? I have to do something soon. I can't turn the radio up enough to cover the noise anymore.

Bearings would be my first suspect. Front or rear. Next thing would be the axle drive section in your transaxle. This also turns at wheel speed.

And what about those tires?

The best description of wheel bearing noise is the sound of a biplane. Now you have to figure out which side.

I have only flown in one bi-plane (Stearman) and it was wonderful. I hope it is the bearings and not the transaxle.

I hear ya. Might be better off changing both. If that is the problem. Make sure ground straps are in tact. Bearings wont last without them.
