Default rear wiper issues

Ok I give up I've looked in the book and done tons of searches and am evidently research inept. Can someone tell me which fuse controls the rear wiper on a 2006 pt please?

Thanks

Unlike the 01-05 models where they have the interior fuse box and the PDC (Power Distribution Center) with fuses and relays for just about everything on the PT, the 06+ models changed everything and now there's just one box under the hood called the IPM (Integrated Power Module). A lot less fuses and relays which means things are integrated together but not listed in any of the easy to get manuals. I'm sure there is a fuse for the rear wiper but it's just not listed in the owners manual or under the IPM box lid.

Nothing quick and easy. All the panels on the rear door/hatch come off by just pulling. Try to take as many off to get to the motor for the rear wiper and see if it's getting 12 volts. If it is, it might be a burnt out wiper motor.

Its not uncommon for these to go bad. Cover removes easely. Check voltage as Instructed. Most likely needs a new one.

Also check the wiring loom inside the rubber sleeve that runs between the hatch and the car. I had two wires that had simply snapped in two. Reconnected them and my dead rear wiper motor and rear defroster came back to life.

That's exactly why you need to check for voltage at the plug! He isn't a bum after all. lol

Sorry I just had to go there.

Mine's motor failed due to water seeping in the shaft- The '01's were the same as C-vans of my year, so I got one for next to insignificance $.

I had problems checking voltage for some odd reason, and erroneously bought a new switch from Chrysler

I had the same problem with water down the shaft. I used the parts from a donner that wouldn't bolt up. It was there what can I say. Free is free.
