Default Head lights
If I get streetglow 9005xs 100w and streetglow 9006xs 80w head light bulbs will they get thinks to hot?

Buy the heavy duty harness with the relays. Otherwise you will eventually burn up either your wiring or the socket. http://suvlights.tripod.com/suvlight...re-harness.htm



Chino over at PTE has several posts on his wiring and sockets (and burnt reflectors inside the housing) burning up/melting from higher wattage bulbs.

Yup, and the bulbs weren't cheap, either.

I was told that our platic bulb sockets wont handle higher wattage lamps as they will melt!!

Looks like that harness provides a better socket than the OEM, original headlamp socket plugs into the new harness.
