Wink Double Checking Spark Plugs

Hello everybody....hope everybody is feeling good good good.......

...Okay....so, I own a 2010 PT Cruiser Classic...I recently purchased a set of the Magnecor KV85 Competition (8.5mm) plug wires for the car and wanted to double check I understand what I've read from all the MANY posts regarding spark plugs.

....it sounds as though this forum would recommend a double platinum spark plug....is that a correct assumption?....any recommendations over which brand I should purchase...there are the Champion Double Platinums and the NGK Double Platinums....NGK are more expensive but still not a deal breaker by any means.

...On those spark plugs will I need to set the gap to .40 ? ...because it sounds like those spark plugs come gapped at .52 I believe.

....and last...again....the iridiums are not a better choice...is that correct?

Strand,

Everybody's got their own recommendations. Champion Double Platinum #7570 is what I'm running for the last 60K and there's no hesitation and starts up first try every time. Yes, you'll have to drop the gap to .040in
