Default Shifter linkage bushings

Hello - had to get a battery today and while the guy and I were changing it out, noticed that one of the manual shifter linkage bushings beneath the airfilter box was basically gone. It was just sitting there on top of the post. It's the one further towards the passenger side, seems to control the front and back movement. It's rigged for now with some zip ties - they didn't seem to have anything to fix it.

I just ordered a set of booger bushings online. I've good things about them and did some reading before ordering. How hard are they to change out? Is there anything that goes on top of the bushing - a nut or top cap etc. Anyone have any directions on it?

Thanks in advance.

The Boogers are awesome!

Basically gently pry the old ones out and then push the new ones in. They just slide over the posts, no nut or anything, just a friction fit.

The interior ones are the same, just more difficult to get to...
