Do you have power on the starter? maybe a bad starter or bad wire? how about the ignition switch?

like i said wen i install my ORIGINAL computer, the car cranks. we kno for a fact that it is the comp that was bad. the ol' snap on mt2500 had no computer reference signal.

and dill. yes i gave the company everything required to flash the comp. vin; mileage; even the main ecm part numbers; and the color of the key end.

i would hate to think that there is a problem with the new ecm as i paid 180 for it.

I've heard a few folks needing to get them reflashed to their vin. It seems quite common for some reason that the software is messed up on new computers...

also I don't know where you purchased the comp from, have you looked at reviews of them to see if software issues tend to be a problem?

Well, i called ACE or Auto Computer Exchange. told them my problems i had with the computer and that my original comp still allowed my car to crank! they agreed with me that their comp was defaulted and should have been an exact "replica" of mine. allowing full function of my security system plus any other functions controlled by the ECM.
(ie: starting...) and they promised me another computer via 2nd day air plus a possible refund for my troubles!!

if anything else they definatly have great customer service. by no means am i trying to slam them. as even brand new electrical components could be bad right out of the box.

i will keep you posted on the events to follow!!
thanks again for helping
