Default my timing belt update...

got the timing belt finished on my 03 PT turbo. Fired right up when I was done.

Car seems to run smoother too.

Was a bear though; so little room to work. I really like the car, but it is crazy how tight that engine compartment is. My Dad was a Mopar parts guy for 45 years... He always said, the designer should have to rotate thru the shops and work on their own creations...

But, happy it is going; hope for another 115k miles...

Congrats!

Considering the amount of 'pro' shops that botch this procedure, you both get a 'Golden Wrench' award!!

Hard part is, got the PT belt replaced and going(the timing belt had failed...).

Then, on rainy night a week later, the starter on my Ram/Cummins pickemup truck went south; stuck on... Man the prices really go up when you get into 3/4ton and up pickups, especially with diesels!

Now that(starter) is at the shop getting rebuilt; fortunate to have a great local shop that specializes in starters and alternators...

Reminds me... That would have been sweet if PT's would have been available with a nice TDI version, like a Jetta TDI...
