OK,
I now have the NGK plugs you asked for.
They are a V-groove standard copper plug that will fit the 2001 & newer 2.4L PT and Neon engines (along with the V-6 in the Caravan).
Are you sure about the Caravan? Looks like the 2002 3.3 and 3.8 litre engines use a different plug - one with 3/4" reach instead of the PT's 1" reach. I was hoping to put NGK's in my minivan too.

The V-groove is on the tip, not the ground bar.

The colder the plug, the less prone to detonation [pinging].
It increses the ability to dissipate heat. This is important in a nitrous or forced induction, because of the huge increase in cylinder temperature under boost.
This may be a beter plug for the turbo PTs that have increased boost. The copper plug is desired for it's resistance to detonation. The colder range will help with overboost situations.
So far, the Champion #3032 is the only colder plug. But it's a single latinum plug and is more likely to ping because of the higher tip temperatures. Platinum is designed to run the tip hot enough for self-cleaning. That's why they can last 100,000 miles, when a copper plug lasts 30,000 miles.

OK, I must have gotten confused by SRTGurl's original post. She said that the LVTR5A-13 was one step colder, and the ones you have now are the LZTR5A-13, right?

The 3.3 and 3.8 engine in the Caravan from 2001 & newer all use the #7440 as the OEM plug.

Thank you, can you find out when this plug will be out?

but let me know about the plug number.

This thread was started as an FYI. It was not meant for anyone to go out and get these plugs for me. I'm sorry if you misunderstood the intent of this thread...it was merely to inform, not to solicite help.
Well,
I pushed the plug into the distribution network for you.
You come and ask for help, then run to another supplier after I do all the legwork on my end. That hurts. [B)]

I'm the guy who got the #7440 double platinums to market back in 2000. I spent over a year working with Federal Mogul (Champion). I also am the guy who engineered the passenger armrest on the 2002 & newer PTs. When the fist model year was missing the armrest, I found a fix to installing the armrest on the fold-flat front seat.
Fabrication and development is only part of what I do. I only ask for a "thanks" when it's done.

If anyone finds UPS charges and a plethora of long distance phone calls to use up a few favors to be a waste of time, let me know.

The stock number #4306 is the important number. The other may have been a typo.
You can see the printed box in my photos.

I'm still waiting on a total from purchasing.
I received the bill-of-lading, but not anything with a dollar amount yet.

I didn't mean to sound like a prick in the above post, but never a day goes by that I don't go out of my way for someone who doesn't appreciate it. And "thanks" doesn't put any food on the table either.

Well MX, I appreciate your help.I know that doesn't always mean a lot, but I do none the less.

Ok, I went to the NGK web site and it lists the LZTR5A-13 for the NA PT and the LZTR5A-11 for the Turbo. I thought the last two digits was the heat range rating for the plug, but when I looked at the thing they have to decypher the part #, it seems this is just the gap (1.1mm for the Turbo and 1.3mm for the NA).The heat range rating, from the way I see it is the 5, which falls in the middle of the scale, but it doesn't say how this compares to what the car came with (as in is it colder, hotter, etc.).
Let me know how much you want for a set of these shipped to 30269 and maybe I'll have a go at them.I just rolled over 20K on the car.

Thanks!

Well........
I got the info from corporate purchasing.
Everyone might as well order them from www.sparkplugs.com

I paid UPS ground from California to Indiana, I paid a service fee for a transfer from NGK to cover any order under 100 spark plugs, and I paid wholesale for 8 plugs @ $1.88 each.

Since www.sparkplugs.com has them for $2.44 each, I'll just keep these and learn not to jump into someone else's project.

I will install a set and do some testing in the spring.

This is already what I said when I started this thread.
