Default Can someone confirm for me....

Went to my buddy's shop today to refill my ac system (he recovered my 134a for me). Like a dummy, after I had done the repairs to Mater's fender I forgot to take the sticker off and put it on the new one with the capacity for the AC system. I believe it was about 1.2lbs (18oz) can someone confirm this for me?

Thanks guys.

Thanks Rob-

Mine is an 03' I can only assume it's the same. Hopefully someone will chime in with an 03' to be sure. Been looking in the manual but can't find it as of yet.

i tried to check this on alldata, it says "Refer to underhood HVAC specification tag for refrigerant capacity"

it does however say:

Refrigerant Oil Capacity
6.10 oz (180 ml)

the tag is on the hood on my car. are you sure yours is not there also?

i used to charge cars "by feel".. you can tell if there is too much refrigerant in there because the will shake a little more and you can tell it's straining too much. also it will not be as cold.

you might ask CREWZIN to rename this thread "SOMEONE WITH A 2003 PT read this"
