Thanx for the input. Just an update, I finally got all of my tow gear installed and hooked up and took it for a spin today and yes there is no added miles to the odometer or trip meter when towed. I retract my original question. I did find out that the under hood fuse #18 will take out your entire insterment panel.
I am towing (four on the ground / 5 speed) with a Roadmaster sterling towbar system and use the Blue Ox Appolo brake system. A brake system is required in Florida (my state) for vehicles over 3,000 lbs. The PT is 3,100 lbs!!!! I'm real pleased with the results thus far. We are going camping in the Ocala National forest area next week for a week. That should be a good test about 100 miles each way.

Jax, IR: ROFL!
Yes, if one cannot identify with swallow velocities or the meaning of "42", then one's Internet access should be prohibited. ![]() 2cool: Removing the rear seat may get you below 3,000 lbs., but brakes are a good idea anyway. [I can see my house from here.] |
