Default Starter issues...

So, even jumping my 04 would not start it. from reading lots of issues from different users on here and other sites, it seems that the Starter is my issue. The lights work great in the car, but when i go to fire it, no sounds or nothing happen. He has 114K on it and had the timing belt replaced at about 80K, very costly too lol.
Can ANYONE PLEASE suggest a place i can get a decent priced re-manufactured starter? i plan on buying a new one when next month, but for now i need something that isnt very costly...
Auto Zone and Advance Auto have them for $96+ $20 core fee...
might as well buy a new one for $120 at those prices...

PLEASE HELP!

I'm not big on Advance rebuilds... New life time isn't always any better. I have a place in the next town that still dose this and I save a ton. If i can wait a couple days. Not to many of those places around these days. But do what you need the first time because it's a bear to change. Be real diligent on the correct connection of jumpers in the future. Could have cost you a computer instead of a starter.

Check all your cable conections before you get too far down the path. (the other ends) Also top on the starter with a hammer and see if it will start.

i took out the battery and the little holder shelf for the battery too so that its easier to get down and see what i have to work with. So check all the wires and such? what does a blown fuse look like? what is Fuse #13 that i read a lot a bout for issues similar to mine?
