Has anyone experienced improved braking with a type or brand of pads?
Anticipating replacement of front pads and any info would be appreciated.

I have EBC GreenStuff pads and Summit Racing sport rotors, but I'm not too impressed by them, but I guess they are better than the stock ones I had that crystallized on me.

Personally, im using Moroe brake pads and i have seen the performance for the past several months. Unlike normal brake pads, this one can be easily maneuver and easier to install these days. There were other products from monroe though they specialized more on brakes which are made from ceramic and are not prone to further damage.

The only real way to have any major improvement in braking is to fit better suspension, discs(rotors) and calipers as well as better pads
That being said, you should see a smidge better braking using Mintex pads, especially in the wet. I would recommend them over the OEM pads any day and they can be had for similar money which is a nice bonus

Everybody has an opinion. Mine is to use Performance Friction's Carbon Metallic pads. Make sure that the actual disc rotor is not a cheapo made-in-China of indeterminate carbon content. It will harden in odd ways. Get one made in the USA, the UK, Germany or Japan. That will make an immense difference.

In the end, whatever makes the car stop is good.

My pads squeal like two cats fighting until warmed up, just wondered if I was alone with this PT problem. Checked for wear but pads still good so new pads still sitting on shelf. My neighbors keep asking what is wrong with my car but I kind of like it
