Default mechanics.... what would you do?

I have to remove my intake manifold to replace the upper rad hose and install new plugs and wires. Should I replace the seals on the intake or just bolt it back down and forget about it?

I changed plugs once and also changed the upper manifold twice and always reused the 4 red rubber seals. No problem. Did check them out each time.

Thanks guys, I will inspect them carefully, and if they look okay, they stay.
I still have a couple of days before the plugs and wires come in. I hope to trade my upper hose for the correct one tomorrow.

Don't forget the correct torque when you put the upper manifold back together. 105 in-lbs on the 5 small bolts.

Remember--that's INCH pounds. Also, it seems like Chrysler says the rubber gaskets can be re-used 10 times.

Yeah, I would never try 105 foot pounds on plastic.... snap.
Thanks for all the info.

32, there was a Cruiser on here, a year or so ago, that actually got confused on the issue--costing him a bit more money that he had anticipated.

So I mentioned it ....
