Unhappy well timing belt went..

Well I guess the magic number for me was just under 108,000.... I was planning to do it before the end of the summer, but I guess I get the fun task of doing it before then now. So THANKS ahead of time to all those who have posted on changing it out. I was driving down I75 about 20 miles from home when the car cutout and that was it, $125 later it was home sitting in the driveway. I order a kit from Rock Auto earlier today. I started tearing some of it apart last night seems to be going well SO FAR, but I know that will probablly change...so any other little trick anyone might know????? let me know....Thanks again.. Tim

Check on the HOW TO thread in the Tech section. There's about 4or5 threads on the timing belt change including one on shortcuts and tricks for completing the job.

How about DIY pics from you, you can always take better pics and document better than everyone else.

If it gets too bad, let me know and I'll see about coming up your way to help. That way, I'll know what I'm in for next month!
