if i got the hahn turbo kit Stage 1, would i be good to go. or do i have to get other stuff to beef up the rest of the engine and drivetrain. i am not really all that knowledgable about this stuff. so would i be safe if i just slaped on the kit with nothing else, or would i be on the edge of screwing my engine?

Just the standard kit, not running high pressure, is made to be safe. However, for best results, you'd probably want something other than the stock air filter and exhaust.
If you really want good performance, you'd need to do some work on the engine or the turbo (running higher pressure, thus producing more torque...paraphrase of posts by Powertrip on ptenthusiasts.org) could kill the engine. But standard kit should be safe... RN See Mephisto
