Transaxle problems?
OKAY, so my rough idling doesn't seem as bad anymore( i posted a while back about having problems ) or I've gotten use to it.
either way I'm here with a whole new ball game. Yesterday I came home, parked my car, came inside for about an hour. Went outside to start my car up n take it down the garage for an oil change.... only when i tried to reverse the car stayed still and wouldn't reverse... like i was pressing on the gas in park... then it jerked back REALLY REALLY hard, and was utterly undrivable. It did seem that it would go forward( but very jerky ) but reverse was practically a no go... So we were able to get it down the garage ( at the end of my driveway, not far at all ) put it up on the lift. started it up.... and tried to get it to go, THE FRONT RIGHT driver side wheel wouldnt move but the left did.. Now I should also note i also earlier this year had to replace the brakes on just my left wheel twice already ( very uneven wear) then we found out a bearing was bad.. so we replaced it. but recently if i let it sit overnight and started it up the next day i would hear a windy clicking sound down by my feet. ( driver side ) i didnt think much of it.. cold start sound or something. Also sorta like a springy sound comes from this wheel too ALLL the time when lightly accelerated and it sounds like its dirrectly from the left front wheel... um... Also another symptom that started around the time as those sounds is when im driving right before shifting i can hear like a winding soft ticking/clicking sound and that sound sounds like its coming from the driverside but sorta by the steering wheel... anything can help me... My bf's grandpap told me its my transaxle.. let me know what you fine people think. ( its crucial i find out and get it fixed asap)
