Default My 5-spd PT occassionally refuses to rev above 2800RPM?

Hey, so, I've had my PT for about two years, got it with 45k miles and it now has 107k. 2004, base wagon, five-speed manual. Sometimes (whether accelerating or cruising) the car will jerk down to 2800rpm, and I can still drive it under that rev limit, or I can also turn the car off and kick-start it with my momentum and everything seems to reset itself, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes for a few days.

Any help? seems like the computer's miscalibrating or it's got a bad spark somewhere or something.

Do the key dance, see if it's throwing codes. Just guessing tho it could be ur cam sensor, if u haven't had it replaced now would be a really good time along with timing belt and water pump. But make sure u only use a factory cam sensor.

Yeah, I ran a scan with my OBDII this morning and my csps is definitely the source of the problem. I'll have a new one in later today and verify if that fixes it.
