Default Cruiser wandering

Hi all

I have a 2002 with 158,000 miles. The steering feels like it does in my 70's f150 I can saw the wheel with no real response. I also have a severe clunking in the rear which I believe to be the watt's link. Also a clunking in the front which I also belive to be the control arm bushings. The tie rod ends seem to be fine, but should I replace them while at it?? Do you think they are the culpret for the wandering and unresponsive steering?? Or could it be the rear is loose because of the watt's link??

Thanks
Bob

What about ball joints, Wheel bearings, and inner tie rods?

yea forgot to mention I think I have a bad wheel bearing. Car has a rumbling noise coming from the front down the highway. Sounds like there is a flat spot on the tire, but doesn't feel like it.

Honestly, neither you or anyone else here will truly know until the car is on the rack.

You can jack up the front and put on jackstands if you got 'em and check for play on all those things you mentioned. That's the only way to know what to do.
