Default Alarm sound while driving, meters flipping

Greetings& hello there
I drive a 2004 crd pt cruiser 2.2 and i love it...
Recently i have a problem, alarm sound while driving, meters flipping...
that alarm bell is going on and off, like i just start the car, same alarm bell.
Also the fuel meter is giving a incorrect value sometimes.
This happens some times, but one day not and a other day almost constant.
Speedmeter go over the top and stuff.
Has somebody a idea please?

Thanks
Guy

Guy,

Over here on this side of the big pond, when strange things happen, sometimes it's caused by the battery. Have it fully checked out that it's holding a full charge, no bad cells and the cables aren't corroded.

Check both the negative and positive cables ends on the top of the battery for any corrosion. Also look down where the positive cable goes down to the starter. Finally, follow the negative battery cable to where it's grounded and make sure it's tight and no corrosion has built up. The big thing is the battery itself.
