Default stage 1 turbo upgrade

Any body out there know what size the injectors are on the 04 GT H.O.
I'm wanting to put on the Stage 1,was told at the Block Party in Pomona by the speed shop guys "you only needed the "PCM" as the 04 already had the 577cc injectors that the Stage 1 kit comes with". I go to my local dealer and want to order only the PCM (powertrain control module)and they say it only comes as a kit. They said call Direct Connection(Mopar speed guys) and they said it only comes in a "kit" also. PTDIY.net also did not know what size the injectors were.
It seems silly to sell a "kit" with injectors if they're already on the vehicle.Help.

splinter, here's the info I've gotten after extensive research:

The '04 cars have the same injectors as a Stage 1 kit would provide, regardless whether your '04 is a GT or Lite. For example, if you have a totally stock '04 Turbo, either version, and an injector goes bad, the part numbers are the same for either turbo motor. And these are, in fact, the same 577cc injectors that an '03 could only get with a Stage 1 upgrade.

Stage 1 kits for the '04 cost the same as S1 kits for the '03 models, but include ONLY the PCM (not sure how a single part is called a "kit", but what the heck). Whether this is fair or not really isn't the point - no matter how you slice it you net out 235HP when you're done, no matter if your S1 is applied to an '03 GT, '04 GT or '04 Lite. In that regard, I suppose it is fair - it's just a larger increase for the owners of '04 Lites.

This info comes from those who have actually done this (FRM3), and those who should know for other reasons (3barboost). I currently have my S1 kit (yes, PCM only) on order and will be installing it myself thanks to some wonderful help and insight from a member of this forum. (Tommy, you rock dude!)

Thank you very much for the info. I'll be ordering my upgrade now. Is there a site that takes you step by step on install the PCM?
Also , How do you add a photo of your car to these forums. I'm new at this forum stuff and am really computer challanged so I don't know what a thread is or a post.(unless you're talking about sewing thread, and a fence post) where do there come up with these terms?!!
The help is greatly appreciated.

splinter, head over to the Mopar Performance site and on the lower left you'll see a link to "Install it Yourself (for 2003 models)". This is a PDF document telling you how to install everything, but for the '04s you can skip the lengthy part about the injectors. Once you're done with the PCM instructions make sure you move on to the last page and take care of the transmission quick learn procedure.

You will need to host your photos somewhere on the web, several here have been using PhotoBucket, http://photobucket.com/

Go here http://www.ptcruiserlinks.com/forum/faq.asp#smilies for info on photos, if you still have questions let me know.

When you reply to a message, that's a post (you're posting a message). When you create a new topic, that's a thread (1 or more posts = a thread).
