Talking Removal of Snapped off Main Motor Mount Bolt - SUCCESSFUL!

This process took about 6 hours but very happy to say that it was successful and I didnt have to pay the dealerships hourly labor Thank goodness for a talented man and great helping neighborly hands!

All work was completed through small hole in wheel well as seen in pics

1. Removed all motor mounts and Jacked engine up with motorcycle jack to line up engine

2. Center punched broken bolt as close to center as possible

2. Drilled a hole by using electric drill and a 1/4 inch titanium bit - approx 1/4 inch hole

3. Heated around bolt with a propane torch (very cautiously and very minimally)

4. Used a #5 easy out to ease bolt out

**** Used a magnet to consistantly clean out hole while drilling, to remove the metal shavings ****

AND Mission accomplished!

Yes I would love to know the procedure to take off the passenger engine support mount...

Just got the car put back together from replacing torque mounts and the whole a/c system and now my water pump is giving me grief! Time for a new timing belt while in there. I just don't understand how to remove the engine mount(s) ... as there seems to be no clearance to remove the bolt. ... any advice or suggestions or redirections appreciated.

Did it break when you were removing the bolt or reinstalling it?
