Default Upper motor mount "strut"; different for manual vs auto?

I need to replace the strut/isolater engine mounts, upper & lower, on my 2002 2.4 with a 5 speed manual. The parts manual gives different part numbers for both depending on manual or auto. The lower mounts seems to be the same from what I see online, but I see notes for the one you do from the top as specific to auto.

Anyone have experience with this? Can I use the one noted for auto? Can't find it mentioned on the forum. Would be handy to know, instead of taking them off and going to autozone only to find out theirs are the ones for the auto. But I figure if this were a huge problem, it would be mentioned more often, since it seems the manuals were pretty common.

Thanks,
Dave

In the states manuals are considered rare. Could repair them with windshield urethane. If you can let it sit for a couple days. Try rock auto. Should be able to get what you need.

Yeah I looked at Rock of course. The upper mounts noted as auto are super cheap. The one noted for manual is different, with the two attachment points at different orientations. The car isn't here though, or a look might do it. I think I'll end up just taking them out and going to autozone to compare. The 3M windshield urethane trick may be the answer though.

There is a difference in the amount of rubber in some.

bought the cheap one from rock for the auto anyway (RA doesn't really list a mount for the manual). it made a difference at first now (3kmiles) it seems pretty sloppy again. I've done all 3 and its still has too much movement to me. There are not many things to like about a PT Loser. The part physically didn't look any different to me.

get the cheap one and fill it with silicone or urethane. The top bolt on the top mount was a pita the nut broke free. I was barely able to get a wrench on it and free it after hours of "what a pos".

I would not recommend using silicone. Just stick with the urethane. JMHO

Thanks for the suggestions dudes. I think I'll get the cheap ones from Rock. I got a chance to look at the car (it's my sister's car actually), and confirmed the orientation is right, so Your_mom's comments are a good help. But I think I'll get the Prothane urethane inserts from Modern performance for another $22, which seems close to the price to buy a tube of 3m windshield urethane locally or get it shipped:
