Default Engine On Power Source -- Fan Bypass

Where is the best Engine On Power Source located I'm doing a cooling fan bypass?

Before you asked I've verified my fan works by using the battery. I've probed the relays with a multi-meter and I know high speed is giving power when is suppose to. The Ground appears to be bad on that cable and the connector on the car side is burnt and melted. I cut off the car side connector and hooked up another a 12V and ground and the connectors isn't bad I can get power thru it, but I'm not going to use it since its melted. I've probed around the Power Block and all i'm finding is always Hot Power sources.
