Default Tow hook question

I bought my PT Cruiser without a jack set ,so I don't have any tow hook for my car yet .. Does any other Chrysler model have the same hook type or is it a specific part for PT-s?

Sorry - then I don't know the exact word in english ..Now I attach a photo

I could not find this part in the parts catalog. I guess that they sell only the complete set in the bag, but I do not need the complete set - only this part..
There are only a few PTs in the junkyards in Hungary, but I can find there many Stratus, Neon, Voyager wrecks. That's why I asked about the compatibility!

Did not get a tow hook in the jack bag with my 08 PT nor is there any place on the undercarriage up front to attach such a hook IIRC. But it is an excellent idea as there seems to be no convenient recovery/tow attach point up front...might even fabricate something similar for myself (such as an appropriately sized and rated eyebolt with the eye welded closed). Also wondering if anybody knows where the tow hook attach point is located?

btw..had several Voyager/Caravan...no tow hook came with them.

How about an aftermarket setup front and rear?
Anyone done it?
I've seen drag/race cars and many "tuners" with em.

The tow eye is only used by a towing professional to winch the vehicle onto the bed, the vehicle is then strapped down with one of three different tie down systems. The tow eye is not rated for recovery and should not be used for such. I have seen people get injured severely when the hook gives way and becomes a projectile. If a operator uses it as a primary tie down during towing, he should be asked to put the vehicle back on the ground and told to leave. That is another unsafe shortcut that can result in the vehicle coming off the bed and possibly killing someone.

Think I am over reacting? I have been a certified towing/recovery operator for ten years. I have seen lots of blood and can't count the number of dead on my attached digits.

Good advice, tnx Horsehaulin...that tow hook in the pic that was posted does not look substantial enough to be used as a recovery point.
