Default Radiator Leak + timing belt kit

I have a leak at the top left (driver's side) of the radiator. I'm not exactly sure where the leak is, but it is dripping from the top along the seam just below the plastic and down near the battery. Before I order a new radiator, would this type of leak be repairable.

Also, if I am going to pull the radiator, I will go ahead and do the water pump and timing belt at the same time. Can anyone comment on this type of kit from ebay.

don't know much about the radiator except it is plastic bonded to metal. don't think it's repairable. i could be wrong.

many people here get the timing belt kits from rockauto.

wait a bit and someone will chime in with more info. you can also check the how to section. there might be more info there.

Thanks for the added info. I figured that the radiator would need to be changed. I just checked Rockauto, there are several options. Can anyone comment on which timing belt kit (with waterpump) to get, or to avoid?

I had my radiator leak from the exact same location in both of my cruisers. It was cracked at the top right behind the battery and would spray onto the battery blanket when warmed up. They seem to split when you give them a funny look had to replace mine.

As far as the timing belt many people go with the Gates kit from rockauto. Belt pump and idler. Ill need to be doing mine soon as well. Though I may buy the parts and have it done elsewhere don't really feel like dealing with it.

Good luck!
