Default Second Gear Burp

Hey yall, I know probably a lot of you know about the second gear "burp" on the PT. I have it as well on my 2003 non-turbo. It didn't use to bug me, but now it just feels to me like it just zaps the acceleration out of the car. Im not saying it has gotten worse, more that I am just paying attention more. I have heard that a set of aftermarket hedders will elimnate this. Is this the only way to get rid of this? Or is there something else? Any insight would be appreciated...thanks.

Thanks, but I have read that article, and as I stated, I have a 2003 Cruiser. And that method won't work on that year.....any more help would be appreciated...thanks

A header will do nothing to keep the injectors from shutting down and the timing from being retarded during the shift.

Anyone claiming an exhaust header will cure the engineered torque management circuit has a lot of automotive education ahead of him.

Heard that the Keanne Bell chip helps the auto programming....
Other than a heavier application of the right foot,.....[:I]
