Default Traction Control Doesn't Like Wet Starts

Hello again! My cruiser occasionally acts up during a start up from a complete stop in wet conditions. The wheels spin the traction control light blinks. I know it is slipping and not getting much traction but it doesn't do this every time. I just casually try to go and i barely move for about four seconds. I have had this happen while trying to merge into traffic and it is mildly scary. If anyone could tell me why the traction control acts up and/or how to avoid it that would be appreciated. Thanks

What is the condition of the tires. If they are worn and wide ( you didn't say GT or other)then it my be that you need better tires. If not, turn it off and see if you are still spinning one of the tires.

Traction control is only going to work when the wheels start spinning, and that's only going to happen when you're giving them too much power for the road conditions. Just let up on the gas a little when starting from a stop.

My 2010 has a tendancy to do this, as well, when the road is wet.

Got the same issue, will try that. It's hard not to move when it's turbo though.

Too much throttle is the only other answer.
