I'm losing my mind. Please help. Any repairs I have to do myself so no I can't take it to a shop. Here's the situation: Wifes 2005 non turbo overheated. Radiator sprayed fluid all over the inside under the hood. Had it towed to her work. Its 30 here in chicago. I replaced the radiator in the parking lot and it wouldn't turn over. Did the key dance and it came up as oil pressure sending switch. Replaced this, same outcome. Starter turn but will just crank until the battery is dead. Pulled cam sensor and can see timing belt is turning. Changed spark plugs and wires as well as oil (black, no discolorarion) still nothing. Did the key dance a few more times and all it said was done. Now the oil pressure sending switch error code is popping back up. Can hear fuel pump kick on. Don't know what to do next. Please help, TJ

Wife could have ran it while overheated till head gasket split (or worse). Time for a compression check.

Try depressing the schreder valve on the end of the fuel rail under the top manifold in the front of the engine :-) |
