Default 2004 Model ignition switch feed

Hi,

Does anyone know if the ignition switch feed coming from Fuse 1 in the PDC only goes straight to the ignition switch or does it also go and feed something else before it gets there too?

I have a diagram from a 2002 model which shows it only going to the ignition switch but could be different on the 04.

Thanks,

Nick

I have a '03 book and it shows Fuse 1 {30a}, go's from PDC to S123 1n PDC. Fuse 3 {40a } go's from PDC to Ignition Switch with a splice going to Fuse Block. I hope this helps.

Ken

It's not a diesel, correct? The diesel has a 150 amp mega fuse between the battery and the PDC.

My 2004 shop manual confirms what lostinoregon says, save the C105 connector prior to the ignition switch C1.
The inner PDC splice (S123) feeds the starter motor relay in the PDC.

On an Auto-stick, a splice at ignition switch C1 feeds ignition switch C2 through the fuse box, fuse #16 (10 amp).

PDC fuses #3 & 20 also feed the ignition switch.

Thank you lostinoregon and sanatanadharma!

Yes it is a Diesel.

Basically, I have the ignition feed to Pin 1 on under the steering wheel column is dead (which is comming from Fuse #1 in the PDC).

So there must be a splice along the way which is feeding ignition switch C2 as you mentioned but you did say this was done in the fuse box?

Any diagrams would be useful! I have the 2002 diagram here. It does show it going to C2 (#16 10A) but the diagram says "Not used" - it could well be used on the 2004 Diesel model!

Thanks

Look for a 150 amp mega fuse below the passenger seat. It is inline between the battery and the PDC.
