Default Stuck Fuel injector

I have an injector that is not closing all the way. Runs rough at idle and smells like an open gas can in the car when you first start it up. Other than that the car runs well. Need help determining what injector needs to be replaced.

The "shade-tree" method would act to finding your answer...After the engine gets warmed up shut it down. Carefully and safely remove the spark plugs one at a time. The spark-plug that is wet with un-burned fuel is your failing injector. Or bad injector harness, broken or faulty wires to the injector, bad spark plug wire and a few other things that could cause a no or partial fire in a particular cylinder causing excess un-burned fuel which would not necessarily be an injector failing?

Try a good infector cleaner first. If you see no improvement. You will need to do what these fine fellows said.

Just thinking out loud here but wouldn't something like that set an error code for the cylinder that wasn't firing properly?

In most cases yes but anomalies can happen with no code value.
