Default Power steering

I have a bad power steering leak. I found the leak? It is coming from what looks like some type of sensor on the back side of the rack and pinion unit. What is this sensor. I don't have a lift and can't get to it from the ground so off to the neighborhood shop it goes since the power steering pump also needs replacing as it is pretty noisy.
Any chance it is just a fitting?

Thanks

There's a Power Steering Pressure Switch that a lot of owners had to change, mostly because of a fault light from the computer.

Yep that's it. Can reach it on the ramps so I guess I have to take it to the local garage.

All fixed. $110. The sensor was also causing the noise, so pump was fine thank goodness.

We greatly appreciate the info. I have a great garage, they could have easily said I needed the pump as well, since I thought the noise meant the pump was shot as well. But they told me the noise was the sensor sucking in air.
New sensor= no leak and no noise!
