Default Help! I made a terrible mistake

I had my 2004 PT Cruiser in storage for about 7 months, never intended for it to sit still for so long. Anyway, after replacing the battery it tries to start but just won't. It turns over but won't fire up. Any suggestions?

I don't know. I have have a a 04 that has gas that is over 3 years old. It will fire up as soon as you turn the key. But just in case use some injector cleaner. You can pull a wire off the coil and hold it close to the hole while someone cranks to see if you are getting any fire. If so pull plug and check gap. If to wide and I mean more than a little. Regap to 40 and see if you do better. Won't hurt to clean the big grounds on the driver side inner finder. Try the key trick and see if you have any codes. Probably not since no running since you last unhooked battery.
Look at the top of this page for retrieving codes for the key trick.
