Question Won't Start or turn over

My wife has a 2005 2.4, non turbo with 77,000 miles. Drove to the gas station, shut it off got gas and tried to restart and nothing. At first the radio was on and power windows worked then after turning ignition switch a few times the windows will not move and nothing in dash works. Battery is fully charged just under 13 volts, Battery load tested good, all fuses checked in fuses box and all are good. I also noticed that the ignition switch (Key) when turning has no resistance to it. I checked a brand new ignition switch though and it felt the same way. Any idea's would be appreciated

Still sounds like the battery voltage if you had certain things working and now they don't. I'd check the cables and battery terminals really well to see if that 13 volts is getting to where it has to.

Thumbs up Re: Won't Start or turn over

Crewzin, Thank you for the advice I will trace the cables now just to make sure. I think when I checked the battery last time it was 12.87 VDC I know that's good for a used battery I think a year half old. If I have 12 + vdc to the fuses box that should rule that problem out. I checked every fuse in the box for continuity and all test good. I appreciate the feed back I will be upset with myself for not checking that, guess I am getting to old.

It doesn't take much of a connection to show on a meter. That doesn't mean there is sufficient connection for the amperage. I would as stated above, check all the connection points of both cables. Don't forget the grounds on the drivers inner finder.
