Default How do you dyno test your car?

I want to dyno my PT but aren't sure who would do it? I don't run a shop or anything, and want to know where I could have it done.

KingKole,

If I remember correctly...someone had his car dynoed down around the Tampa area, and if memory serves me well, it was about $75 a pass.

What you should do is find a place that has a DynoJet, find out when the next 'Dyno Day' is, and do it then.Typically, it's a lot cheaper on those days because they have a large group of people doing it at once.I did mine on a Saturday here, which is when they have their Dyno Days, and it was $50 for 3 pulls.

You could always find a horse ranch with a couple hundred horses, hook your PT to one end of a tow rope, and add/subtract horses to the other end.......[)]

I don't think you really want to know just how little horsepower and torque a non turbo PT has. If I remember right from an old thread a stock PT only has around 110 horsepower at the wheels
