Short cycling of the compressors for walk-in cooler and freezer at my previous work site, always meant refrigerant leak.

My Ford Ranger was doing that last summer and I used A/C Pro.....It's stopped short-cycling & still freezing balz in 108 degree heat indexes!(indicies for the college crowd.lol)

Sort of go along with that because a leak means the system is low on R134a and that's the real problem. As Randy said, give it a charge to stop the re-cycling, BUT, you'll still have a leak and it'll do it again.

Actually; My Ranger had a small leak somewhere?....But,I used the A/C Pro with leak sealer, and I guess it worked the R134 hasn't dropped in just over a year now.
