Default Anyone have this problem?

When my car is warmed up and I have been driving a little, when I turn the wheel and hold a turn, I hear a sound from the (whjat I presume) is the power steering. The feel is normal, fluid is clean and topped off. It's not a squealing sound, but is noticeable.
I have been running my stock rims.
Any thoughts?
Thx

Redman,

The PT has been having problems (not enough for a recall) with the steering. Owners have been having power steering pump failures, and a clicking noise coming from the steering box which in some cases the dealer replaces a part. Try a search at the top of this page for "steering" and see if you can come up some of the discussions that I've seen.

I'm having the same problem with my steering making a small noise. I notice my automatic GT didn't have this problem, but my manual GT had this problem since it left the lot (dealer says nothing is wrong with the steering pump). However, steering works fine, just the noise is a minor annoyance for now.

There's a TSB on the PS fluid. They change it to ATF.

It "masks" the problem until you are out of warranty and then one day it comes back and won't go away. $400 later, I have a new PS pump [:X] I was a real [)] to go back to the dealer.

does the power steering fluid thin out too much when it is hot?
