Default Air Conditioner Help

So my car over heats and smokes only when the air conditioner is turned on. Is there a reason why/how can I fix/stop this problem?

Your radiator fan is two speeds. Make sure both speeds are working. Many owners have had the brushes inside the fan motor burn out causing overheating and A/C problems.

Depends what you call easy and how you are at fixing things. First you need to find out if both speeds are working and the CPU is OK plus both relays. The easiest way is to find someone with a scanner. The scanner can run tests through the computer to turn on and off both speeds of the fan which would prove if the relays are good, the CPU is working and the fan isn't burnt out.

you can get a new dorman fan on amazon or rockauto for less than $100. there's a writeup in the how to section on how to replace. not too difficult.
