Question Mystery bolt on 2003 Manual Trans

I removed the bolt in the picture below thinking it was the 5spd trans drain plug.
I quickly reinserted it. Have I done any damage?
What is this bolt?

This is taken from the front right side of the car looking up at the trans.

That bolt is for the reverse idler shaft. Since you just took it out and put it back you should be fine. Row the shifter, do the gears all feel ok?

Here's the trans manual if you need any more info about it.;_NV_T350.pdf

The drain plug is right below the rubber fill plug IIRC

^^^ Yep! Exactly!

If you were able to get it to tighten, you're OK.

Forget about it (not to the extent you do it again ) and keep on cruisin'!
