Default Codes P0122 & P2074 after replacing TP sensor

Hello, I want to say that this forum has been very I formative. I check it first whenever I have a question about my cruiser. I have a 2007 pt that I purchased used in 2010 with 28k milez from a Chrysler dealer. It ran great until it hit 50k miles earlier this year. I had the engine rebuilt due to 2 burnt valves. I also had the water pump, timing belt and motor mount replaced at the same time. It now has 60k miles. I drive about 700 miles a week in my new job. Two weeks ago it suddenly started to downshift while in traffic or on the highway. Codes P0068 and P2074 came through. I replaced the MAF sensor. It ran fine for about 200 miles and then it did the same thing. Now only code P2074 appeared. Yesterday I replaced the TP sensor. It ran fine for about 150 miles until I was on the highway today doing 65 mph. Out of nowhere it starts to hesitate and buck. Now I have codes P2074 and P0122. The trans is an automatic. I don't know where to look. I would really appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks, John

2009 Non Turbo

Got a check engine light this morning. Did the Key ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON trick and saw error code P 2074. No other code displayed.

Read other posts here and saw Crewzin's reply about this code:

P2074-manifold Pressure/throttle Position Correlation

CORRELATION - HIGH FLOW/VACUUM LEAK

When Monitored: Engine Running, during all drive modes.
Set Condition: If vacuum drops below 1.5 Hg with engine RPM greater than 2000 RPM
at closed throttle.

POSSIBLE CAUSES

VACUUM LEAK
HIGH RESISTANCE IN MAP (K7) 5 VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT
RESISTANCE TO GROUND IN MAP (K7) 5 VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT
MAP SENSOR
HIGH RESISTANCE IN (K1) MAP SIGNAL CIRCUIT
RESISTANCE TO GROUND IN (K1) MAP SIGNAL CIRCUIT
HIGH RESISTANCE IN (K4) MAP GROUND CIRCUIT
PCM
TP SENSOR OPERATION
HIGH RESISTANCE IN (K6) TP SENSOR 5 VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT
RESISTANCE TO GROUND IN (K6) TP SENSOR 5 VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT

HIGH RESISTANCE IN (K22) TP SIGNAL CIRCUIT
RESISTANCE TO GROUND IN (K22) TP SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT
HIGH RESISTANCE IN TP (K4) SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT

Won't tire you with the details of my cause. Basically when I changed the air filter a few days ago, I guess I didn't get the air filter cover on all the way.

Checked under the hood after getting home from work and noticed the cover looked strange. Unclamped both sides, reseated the new air filter and popped the cover back on. Looked correct, put the clamps back and turned the key. Check engine light went off.

Found this hope it helps.
