Default So... Just how big of a gap can the PT spark?

Should I call the Guinness Book of Records? I think I set a new one with these bad boys.

Guess which one is the old one

Let the flaming begin for the negligent, but embarrassed owner!

I'm not going to flame you. But have seen this many times. If you have a turbo someone will flame you for the new one.

eline; If you really wanted to know the answer to your own question about the gap, why didn't you just leave the plug in?

Yeah it's pretty bad, however, Rob's #2 does have me beat!

I felt a little guilty, for about a total of 15 minutes! But as a typical self preservation tactic, I'm blaming the prior owner. I bought the car at 135K miles, It now is about to hit 150K. So never mind the fact that I took a year to get to it. Just ignore that part, because CLEARLY I had NOTHING to do with that!

yea i blame the previous owner as well.. i assume mine are the original plugs. i replaced them around 220k miles because the coil went bad. i bought the car at 214k.

after i changed mine, it made no noticeable difference to me. same MPG, same idle quality, same performance. i couldn't believe it. i mean, one wasn't even screwed in all the way!

how about you? do you notice anything better since changing them?

so that would mean the old plugs ain't bad yet?.....LOL!

Got to see the plugs on my wifey's PT cruiser, hadn't check the plugs since we got it from the previous owner.......just got a new set of Granatelli wires and NGK Iridiums, hopefully they make some improvement....
