Default WRONG Radiator? Auto & Manual are they the same?

Got a 2001 Non Turbo with 5 Speed Manual Transmission.
Picked up a new radiator and it has 2 silver nipples (LOL)
on the bottom where my original did not (see pic).

Pretty sure these are the auto tranny line hookups,
but I have a manual transmission and no lines to hookup to.

Are these nipples non-functioning if nothing is hooked up?
I'm thinking it's a universal radiator (auto/manual) but not 100%

It's dark here but I'm still gonna try to throw the
dang thing in if I get the OK here.
