Default Auto transmission problems and codes

Hi there

My wife's cruiser has started putting itself into limp mode on a regular basis, I have retrieved the fault codes with a scanner and they are as follows.

p0700 - TCM
p0721 - Output sensor
p0732 - incorrect ratio.

What would be triggering these?

I am assuming that they are connected, the car drives fine, then goes into limp mode.

Any pointers would be appreciated

Thanks

You should get a Transmission shop do a TCM scan and clear. But it looks like it may be your TCM needing to be replaced.

Ok, cleared codes, faults have come back,

also p1390 wheel speed sensor, these all seem linked.

is it possible to be a bearing failing, on some trucks you get wierd faults from the hubs prior to a failure.

The one thing that all those have in common is the TCM. That would be my bet.

Replace the output sensor. Easy and cheap.

Hi guys, thanks for the input. I have changed the transmission oil as a precaution and it seems to have helped a little reset codes again and it keeps coming up as 0720.

I drove the car for a while and the speedo and rev counter kept cutting in and out, output sensor kept on the shelf at dealer...... picking it up today to try
