Same in either one. Sure you need one? I ask because these just don't go bad as a rule. Changed mine because it got knocked off. Put the shifter in low. Remove the shift lever off the shift rod on the trans. Pull the pan. Drop the valve body. Be careful they're some things that can fall out. Just go slow and watch how things come down. You can see what you need to do from there.

How about a more in depth explanation of the situation. It's hard enough to find the issue with the car in front of us and just a blurb on a paper.... Let alone just "hey my car won't start" how about light function? Power with the key on? Brake lights working? Stick or auto? Battery terminals tightened? My first suggestion is to triple check all connectors to the batt and starter, move on to your brake lights and make sure they work (brake light switch could go bad.) The more info the better we can help you.

I hate to say it but Hit the fuse box make sure they are all good then move on to the relays. Not too familiar with the pt starter circuit but it can't be over complicated. Try swapping out relays (if the pt has a starter relay?) And this one is silly..... Hit The unlock button on your remote.... Sounds silly but it has been done...

It could also be the WCM causing the car not to start. Is the red VTSS dot lit up steady in the dash? This happened once to my '06 and it caused a no start condition, it wouldn't even engage the starter.
