Default Misfire

I have a 2005 Touring and I am having problems with it. It acted like it wasn't getting enough gas and we thought that it had something to do with bad gas or maybe running it too low on gas for too long and it picking up dirt from the bottom of the tank when I filled it up. The engine light will blink when going up a hill and finally just stayed on and I got the codes pulled on it and it said misfire in cylinder 2 so my husband changed the plugs and wires and it didn't fix the problem. Does anyone know what else it may be?

Rich; there are many things that could cause this. Search this forum and see where your symptoms lead you to.
