Default A/C vents in 2006 above radio

picking up my first Cruiser on Friday; the pix of the model shows NO VENTS in the two circular vent areas above the radio. I know this unit has A/C, is that a defect or on purpose mod/change or ???
I know I must rotate that area to change the radio but these black plastic circles have a detent in them, to rotate but NO VENTING

What's the deal???

Thanks
Joe

Okay,

Here's a photo. What's missing on yours?

Well.

It looks like the vents are just closed in that photo. But they appear to be there.

One is closed at the normal 6 o'clock position and the other on the left is closed and turned to about 2 o'clock. I don't see anything unusual.

I.C.

I am ignorant of most of what it has/does since it isn't in my grubby little hands yet
I scoured the forum and I have a lot of answers to simple things like oil; viscosity etc.

What I haven't found a definitive answer is if anyone uses the FANCY BOSCH iridium; +2; +4; or thin wire plugs in their cars; I see most use Platinum Autolite
I used the thin wire plugs in a Monte Carlo YEARS ago and the electrode 'pulled out' I am sure due to the sparking mechanism.

Any opinions ideas???

Too bad FRAM stopped making the Air Hog filters; like K&N! but regardless they never made one for the PT ;-( Bums!!!

HELLO, Vents are just in the closed position. I own a 2006 touring. Also the vents work out real well as you can rotate them clockwise 360 degrees or 360 degrees counter-, clockwise, the dent you see pictured is the area you push to open them up. The louvers also slant left to right or up and down nice design. You get a-lot of air flow.
