Air Breather upgrade ??

westgate--i had a little incident with k&n. i wish that they had taken the time to check what they were telling people. when the turbo cruiser came out, they assured me that the kit for the n.a. engine would work. i asked them more than once to make sure. sure---no problem---"the illustration photos for the install does not look like anything in the engine compartment of my turbo motor" no problem--it will fit. deep breath, ok. ordered, received, tried to install--no luck, not even close. fortunately i had names and times when i had originally contacted them---needless to say they offered to refund my $ and pay the freight to send it back to them. they also updated their web site and customer service info to reflect that they did not have an intake for the turbo pt. no yelling, no hair pulling, i just took my $ and bought an early model amx1397 intake system from the fender inlet to the turbo. it all worked out, but what a hassle.

I had a grommet for the air sensor missing from the box. I called them and they sent me a 20 cent grommet FED EX overnight. Now that is very good customer service.
