That said, I honestly admire your readily offered admission of a possible oversight and sincere attempt to correct same for the benefit those who could be led astray.

I'll also admit that there are frequently more than one term to describe numerous things and will accede that your terminology may well be as appropriate as mine in this case. And may well be dependent on the purpose to which one puts said tool.

For an example that recently confounded an ol A-list buddy who didn't know what I was referring to and even took exception to the use of...

First Motion Shaft in reference to a particular tranny part. Anybody need hep wid dat?

OCTJMO... ICBW...
This may be of interest to you for use on auto forums?

BTW (by the way) I had to go look up what OCTJMO... ICBW meant?

I have spent more time on other forums where a younger crowd uses these capitalized letters grouped together with every other word trying to figure out what was said?

So I am getting 20 new chrome 1 piece lug nuts as replacements; car has the alloy wheels; are the nuts still the acorn type or a different design? I had Key Stone Classics in the 70's and the lug nuts were of a different design for my Chevy when using THOSE rims.

Another Q; HOW do I add a picture of my ride to my profile; when I post etc...I didn't see a link in my profile to add one ?!?!?

Nube of sorts... please HELP!

My ride as an attachment

Figured I'd better sneak this bit of HELPFUL information in the middle of the anal posturing before the post gets locked - if you have to change the rear lug studs, you may be time and money ahead to just change the whole rear hubs. The hub assembly's start at about $25 from Rock Auto - new hub, studs and bearing.

Carry on . . .

I was wondering when someone was going to catch that!

Now you went and made me feel bad about my last post poking fun at you!

We both have our moments of useful contributions hidden in the middle of posturing.
