Post Car wont start. Brand new battery?

Hey everyone! So the other day my car wouldnt start. It had the usual clicking like a dead battery so i went and bought a new battery and put it in which i must say is a major pain! I turned it over that night and it fired right up. In my area its been really cold ( like negative 1-5 cold ). So i am wondering if this has anything to do with it? All the lights are coming on and the head lights are bright so i know the battery has plent of juice. Im at a loss here! any suggestions would be cool! thanks everybody

Get yourself a voltage tester and check to see if the battery is still around 12 Volts when you try and start it. It if is, you might have corrosion on the ends of the cables stopping that voltage getting to the starter. If it's not, you may have something pulling down the voltage of the battery while left unattended.

P.S. watch your language on the forum please.

But the battery is brand new? Would this matter? and it also started right up when i put the battery in so im pretty sure it has enough voltage to crank it over. Would the cold affect it at all? and sorry for my language. Thanks again

Yes, cold affect the efficiency of the battery and can lower the cranking amps which you need to start the car. That's why I wanted you to test the voltage before you try to start the car in the morning.
